Situated in the heart of the city, Plaza de Bolivar is flanked by buildings from several eras, many of which are historically and politically significant. They include the Cathedral, Cardinal’s Palace, Town Hall and the Capitolium, behind which stands the Presidential Palace. Along the steep, narrow streets that head east from the Plaza towards the mountains you’ll find many splendid colonial buildings built in traditional style with huge doorways, wonderful streetlamps and flower filled balconies.

Ubicada en el corazón de la ciudad, la Plaza de Bolívar está rodeada de edificios de diferentes épocas,  muchos de los cuales son de importancia histórica y política. Estos incluyen la Catedral, el Palacio del Cardenal, la Alcaldía y el Capitolio, detrás del cual se levanta el Palacio Presidencial. A lo largo de las empinadas y estrechas calles que van hacia el oriente desde la plaza hacia las montañas, usted encontrará hermosas edificaciones coloniales, construidas en estilo tradicional con grandes portales, hermosas lámparas y balcones llenos de flores.
